Stone Cold Steve Austin has named the current WWE star he’d most like to face, if he was to return to the ring.
Austin recently took part in a rapid-fire Q&A for WWE’s TikTok account. The former WWE Champion revealed that out of WWE’s entire roster, he’d most like to step into the ring with Brock Lesnar, if he was to come out of retirement.
Since Lesnar’s return to WWE in 2012, Austin has occasionally teased a dream clash between himself and The Beast. The two competitors never faced off in singles action, with Austin famously no-showing an episode of Raw in 2002 where the two were meant to do battle.
Lesnar is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38, following his Royal Rumble match victory last weekend.
Other questions Austin answered included:
Classic star he wishes he had wrestled – ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham
- Favorite WWE entrance theme – Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart
- Funniest star he encountered in the locker room – Mick Foley
- Favorite non-wrestling moment of career – Driving a Zamboni
- Hardest he’s ever been hit in the ring – By Booker T (easily)
- Favorite travel partner – Billy Gunn (because he’s always in such a bad mood)
- Strangest place he’s ever had a beer – Nowhere (he’s had so many beers in so many strange places that none of them are strange to him anymore)
