Tessa Blanchard Already Has Interest From Other Companies Following Impact Firing

Earlier on this week, it was confirmed that Impact Wrestling had fired their World Champion Tessa Blanchard. This came after the reports of the breakdown in the relationship between the two parties.

Tessa is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the world, so it’s not surprising to hear that several companies are looking to bring her in following her Impact release.

Tessa has ties with WWE, having worked for the company as part of the Mae Young Classic. She also worked the All In show in 2018, which paved the way for All Elite Wrestling.

However, a lot has been made of Tessa’s attitude problems, with Blanchard reportedly refusing to drop the Impact World Champion and failing to send in vignettes for TV. These reports could easily turn off any company from bringing Tessa in.

Frightful is reporting that Tessa has attracted interest from several companies following her Impact release, but these specific companies were not revealed.

WWE is reportedly looking to release several “problematic wrestlers”, so perhaps they won’t be looking to bring in Blanchard who was accused just a few months ago of racial abuse and bullying by some female independent wrestlers.

It was reported several months ago that WWE didn’t sign Blanchard due to reported “attitude issues”, so it unclear whether they are one of the companies looking to bring her in at this time.

With Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch off of TV, WWE could overlook Blanchard’s attitude problems and bring her in to provide the women’s division with some much-needed star power.

Tessa Blanchard has denied getting kicked out of the Performance Center following a fight with her now ex-boyfriend Ricochet. You can read more about that story by clicking here.
