The Rock has been announced for an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, ahead of his return to the ring at WrestleMania 40.
Since officially joining the Bloodline storyline in February, The Rock has mostly appeared on SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania.
WWE has now confirmed that The Rock will appear on the April 1 Raw episode during WrestleMania 40 week.
You can view WWE’s graphic for The Rock’s appearance below.
The Rock has now taken to Twitter to comment on his “one night only” Raw appearance, writing:
THE FINAL BOSS WILL ELECTRIFY BROOKLYN ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW⚡️✊🏾
Now sit back, shut your mouths and ENJOY THE RIDE THE ROCK IS TAKING ALL YOUR CANDY ASSES ON 🤫
ONE NIGHT ONLY #BROOKLYN #RAW #TheROCK @wwe @TKOGrp
The Rock is preparing for his first full match in over a decade, with the Final Boss set to team with Roman Reigns to face off against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
While this will technically be his first bout since WrestleMania 32 in 2016, his match against Erick Rowan only lasted six seconds at this event.
His last match that went longer than six seconds saw him drop the WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 29 in 2013.
Cody Rhodes cut a scathing promo on The Rock during Monday’s (March 18) edition of Raw, calling The Rock Roman’s side chick.
The Rock’s WWE writer has now criticized Cody Rhodes’ promo, which you can read more about right here.
