Legendary Hall of Famer The Undertaker has admitted to being ‘really, really high’ on a current WWE star.
Despite being retired from in-ring competition for almost four years, The Undertaker remains in tune with the current talent appearing on WWE TV on a weekly basis.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker spoke highly of one man in particular: WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.
Making reference to GUNTHER’s March 4 bout with Dominik Mysterio, Undertaker revealed why The Ring General has impressed him, as well as what he believes would happen if he were to meet GUNTHER inside a WWE ring.
Undertaker said:
“I really like him, I think the sky’s the limit for him. I think he’s a little bit of a throwback to a different era, but has the ability to work and tell stories.
“I mean he just had that match with Dom (Mysterio) which is tough, a heel versus a heel is a tough match when somebody doesn’t turn.
“He kept Dominik a heel and he kept himself a heel, and I’m really, really high on him. But, yeah, we would probably fistfight about two chops in.”
GUNTHER is looking to continue his record-breaking Intercontinental Championship reign at WrestleMania 40, when he faces off with Sami Zayn one-on-one.
