Thunder Rosa Retains AEW Women’s World Championship At Double Or Nothing

The AEW Women’s World Championship was on the line when Thunder Rosa defended her championship against Serena Deeb at tonight’s (May 29) AEW Double or Nothing.

Not only did La Mera Mera look amazing in her Día de Muertos-inspired gear took on the proclaimed Professor of Professional Wrestling in a match that was absolutely a clinic in physical, captivating wrestling.

With a hard-fought match with submission holds, flying action and big spots for each, it was any woman’s match to win until finally Thunder Rosa was able to prevail.

Still to go on the Double or Nothing match card, the main event match between AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page defends his title against CM Punk.
