TNA Original Returns To IMPACT Wrestling

TNA Original Returns To IMPACT Wrestling

Tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling brought with it a special match for one of the competitors. James Storm was wrestling the 1000th match of his IMPACT career. As a result, his old friend and TNA original Chris Harris arrived to support him.

During a backstage interview, Storm dedicated his match to the late Bob Ryder. Ryder had been an extremely influential figure behind the scenes at IMPACT and Storm credited him for getting himself and Harris in the company.

Chris Sabin then told Storm that he had a surprise for him and introduced Chris Harris. After a tense staredown, the two hugged and the segment ended.

Storm and Harris had been part of the tag team America’s Most Wanted during the early days of TNA. They won the NWA TNA Tag Team titles seven times as a team and wrestled their last match as partners in 2006.

Storm went on to have success with Bobby Roode and later as a singles competitor while Harris has not wrestled for the company since 2011.

James Storm wrestled Eric Young on tonight’s show, successfully notching his 1000th IMPACT match.
