Tommaso Ciampa Makes NXT Return

Tonight’s episode of NXT was truly remarkable, with several brilliant matches, and a few shocking returns/twists that many people didn’t see coming.

One of the aforementioned returns was from former Universal Champion Finn Balor. The Irishman made his return to the black and gold brand, seemingly setting up a feud with Adam Cole.

However, after Undisputed Era defeated Street Profits to retain the NXT Tag Team Championships in the main event of the show, it seems like Adam Cole has another new challenger to his NXT Championship.

While celebrating his buddies win on the ramp, Adam Cole was interrupted and confronted by former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.

The return was spectacular, with Ciampa previously being on the sidelined for several months following major neck surgery.

The return also sets up the possibly of a mouth-watering three-way feud between Adam Cole, Tommaso Ciampa and Finn Balor for NXT TakeOver: War Games III.
