Tony Khan Comments On Future Of All Atlantic Title As Traveling Championship AEW

Tony Khan has commented on the future of the AEW All-Atlantic Title, discussing plans for PAC’s reign.

The initial announcement of the title was met with criticism from fans who didn’t believe that AEW needed any more singles gold. Khan has previously stated that the title was introduced to showcase international stars.

PAC became the inaugural champion at AEW x NJPW Double or Nothing, defeating Miro, Malakai Black and Clark Conners in fourway action to win the belt.

The British star has two title defences lined up, both outside AEW. He will face Shota Umino at this weekend’s RevPro show in London, before going one-on-one with LJ Cleary on July 22 for OTT in Dublin, Ireland.

Speaking on The Masked Man Show, Khan confirmed that the All-Atlantic Title will be a traveling championship.

Noting that there have been talks about Thunder Rosa defending the AEW Women’s Championship overseas, Khan said:

“PAC is going back to England, he’s back in England now. He is going to defend the title internationally. It’s a traveling championship, because the champions of AEW, because of TV commitments, all the other champions we really have booked here through the year, let’s have a champion that can go defend the title.

“Thunder Rosa has also talked about defending the Women’s World Championship abroad, which I’m open to also.”

Pac currently boasts a 66.67% win/loss record for AEW TV matches in 2022. Check out a full list of AEW win/loss records for this year right here.
