Tony Khan Provides Update On AEW Double Or Nothing Date & Location AEW

Tony Khan has provided an update on AEW Double or Nothing’s date and location.

Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling in 2019, the company has held their AEW Double or Nothing event during Memorial Day weekend.

In the two non-COVID years (2019 and 2022), the show has taken place in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to AEW President and CEO Tony Khan, this doesn’t seem like it will change in 2023.

Appearing on the Mark Hoke Show, Khan was asked by the host if he should make Memorial Day weekend plans in Las Vegas. He answered:

“Yes, you should. I can’t wait. I really believe we’ve built something really special in Las Vegas with Double or Nothing weekend for the local fans in Vegas and fans who travel all over the world to be part of Double or Nothing every year.”

“Absolutely, as long as I can make it happen, which I think will be for many decades to come, I expect Double or Nothing to be part of the Las Vegas calendar and Memorial Day in Las Vegas is about AEW now.”

“Memorial Day weekend is a very important American holiday and we’ve built a nice tradition there over the weekend, and on Sunday in particular, we’ve had a lot of success, and I would love to Double or Nothing in Las Vegas and I expect to.”

AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and marked the first million-dollar live gate in All Elite Wrestling history.

The show was headlined by CM Punk winning his first AEW World Championship against Hangman Adam Page.

Memorial Day is on Monday, May 29 this year, so it is safe to assume AEW Double or Nothing 2023 would take place on Sunday, May 28. AEW has not confirmed the date nor location for the event, as of this writing.
