A top All Elite Wrestling star has been announced among the cast for an upcoming slasher movie set for later this year.
Swerve Strickland has quickly become on of the top stars in AEW, and his rise has seen him land an upcoming movie role.
Per Deadline, Swerve (Stephon Strickland) has been named among the cast for the upcoming slasher movie ‘Stiletto’ alongside Gigi Gustin, Charlotte McKinney and Colleen Camp.
The movie is set to be directed by Samuel Rodriguez Jr, and has the following plot synopsis:
“A year after the grisly murder of a local exotic dancer, the victim’s sister, Lyric [Gustin], searches for the serial killer responsible as he stalks and kills his favorite dancers on the night of the anniversary.”
Swerve has been taking aim at the AEW World Championship in recent weeks, calling out Samoa Joe on last week’s Dynamite show.
He was victorious over Daniel Garcia in the main event of last week’s Dynamite show.
Swerve isn’t the only top AEW star to appear on the silver screen recently, with former AEW World Champion MJF appearing in the Iron Claw.
