Top Star Credits ‘One Big Team’ For Company’s Recent Rise AEW

IMPACT Wrestling held it’s 2023 Bound For Glory event on October 21, which ended with a big announcement.

It was announced that IMPACT Wrestling would be no more, with the company set to return to it’s old TNA name and branding starting in January 2024.

Current IWGP United Kingdom Champion Will Ospreay was in action on the show, defeating Mike Bailey in an incredible bout, and he’s now taken to Twitter to react to the change and the company’s recent growth.

He said:

I have had the best time at @IMPACTWRESTLING from fan experience to quality of wrestling.

I honestly believe that the reason they have climbed back from such a deep trench… is because that place is one big team.

The moment they they said “we are TNA” I said “yes they are”

I’m so happy for all of that crew because they all work so hard and are grateful for the fan support.

TNA was the reason I wanted to become a wrestler. With that team, they will inspire brand new TNA kids.

Ospreay’s contract with NJPW is set to expire in February 2024, and he recently said that IMPACT is in the running to be his next home.
