A top WWE star has revealed that they are in the ‘final two months’ of their current contract with the company.
Numerous big contracts with WWE are set to come up in the coming months, with names such as Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins and Sheamus reportedly having contracts expiring in 2024.
Another top star with a contract set to expire this year is Becky Lynch, who is set to face off with Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Speaking on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Helwani asked Becky if it was true that she was in the ‘final year’ of her contract with the company.
She responded:
“Final two months. You wanted me to be honest.”
Becky was asked if it was normal to have not heard back about a new deal with three months left, to which she said it wasn’t, but she also wasn’t concerned.
When asked if she was worried, she responded:
“At this stage in the game, contrary to a lot of the thoughts in this book, I am so confident in my ability and my worth. No, not really.”
