Triple H Congratulates New Champions Crowned At WWE WrestleMania 40

Triple H has congratulated new champions after the pair won tag team gold at WWE WrestleMania 40 in a ladder match.

The Judgment Day put both the Raw and SmackDown tag titles on the line separately against A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory), DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne), New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth).

With Grayson Waller scaling the ladder and grabbing the SmackDown Tag Team Championship first, he and Austin Theory became titleholders for the blue brand, while the match continued with the Raw belts still hanging above the ring to be pulled down.

The celebration would be short lived after the New Catch Republic threw Waller out of the ring and crashing into a ladder between the ring and the commentary desk.

While Austin Theory would go on to make a brief attempt to climb to get the WWE Raw titles as well, in the end they would end up being won by R-Truth and the Miz.

Triple H wrote on Twitter along with a snap of himself, Theory and Waller:

“I’m confident we still haven’t even scratched the surface on what @GraysonWWE and @_Theory1 are capable of. This is going to be one entertaining #SmackDown Tag Team Championship reign… #WrestleMania”

Still to come on tonight’s night one of WWE WrestleMania, the ‘biggest tag team match n WrestleMania history’.

The Rock will make his in-ring return teaming with Roman Reigns to take on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
