Report: Triple H ‘Severely Underwhelmed’ By ‘Underperforming’ WWE Stars He Brought Back

Since taking over the wrestling side of WWE in July, Paul Levesque (Triple H) has brought back numerous released WWE talents.

The majority of these names were people not favored by Vince McMahon despite Levesque having used them favorably during his time booking NXT.

However, it sounds like not all of them have impressed Levesque upon returning.

According to WrestleVotes, a “handful of talent” who have been brought back have “underperformed and severely underwhelmed Triple H & others since returning to the company”.

It was not said who exactly this was referring to, nor was there any further context as to exactly what the phrase “underperforming” actually means.

It’s not expected that the returns will slow down anytime soon, with the likes of Chelsea Green and Eric Young near-certainties to return imminently.

Yesterday the news broke that Vince McMahon had apparently told people he “intends” on returning to WWE, which reportedly led to some unrest about what that could potentially mean for talent that Levesque has brought back if McMahon does somehow return to the fold.
