There was reportedly a backstage incident involving Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens following last Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series premium live event.

The incident stemmed from Reigns being unhappy with an unplanned spot during the match.

The situation led to Reigns missing his planned appearance on the Survivor Series post-show media scrum.

The incident led to a ‘yelling altercation’ between the two, but the situation never got physical.

Reddit user Kerrmit125, who has been verified by the mods on r/Squaredcircle as a credible source, as the account would not be on the subreddit if it was not, has confirmed the story.

The user also states that Triple H stepped in, telling the two to address the situation in the locker room.

The user also confirmed plans for a match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns for the Royal Rumble event in January.

Should plans change due to the altercation, Sheamus would likely be the person instead chosen to face off against Reigns at the event.
