Undertaker Names WWE Star He Believes Should’ve Ended His WrestleMania Streak WWE

The Undertaker has named the star who he believes should have been the one to break his WWE WrestleMania winning streak.

The Deadman retired with a WrestleMania record of 25-2.

He went undefeated at WrestleMania for 21 straight matches, before suffering his first loss on the Grandest Stage of them All to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30 in one of the most shocking moments in WWE history.

His only other loss at WrestleMania came at the hands of Roman Reigns, who defeated the Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 33.

Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker named the late Bray Wyatt as the star who he believes in hindsight should’ve ended The Streak.

Believing that a WrestleMania win over him would’ve done more for Wyatt than it did for Reigns, Undertaker said:

“The most logical person to break it would have been Bray Wyatt. Probably of the three, it would have meant more to his career than even Roman’s.

“For Roman, it would have been very special but for Bray, there were so many comparisons between the two characters and the darkness and the different things.

“For him to be able to have broke it would have been such a feather in his cap and in something that would have prob probably could have extended the, the character of the Undertaker in, in a different capacity.

“You know, I mean, Bray would have been the, the in ring aspect of it, but I think that those characters would have somehow maybe merged together in some kind of higher power type deal.

“But I think of, of all the people that it would have helped, the most, I think Bray would have been the guy. He’s the only one.

Undertaker and Bray Wyatt faced off at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.

The Deadman last wrestled at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, defeating AJ Styles in a Boneyard match. The Undertaker announced his retirement from wrestling later that year.

Another Hall of Famer rumored to be making an appearance at WrestleMania 40 has now been announced for an upcoming WWE event, which you can read more about right here.
