WWE has announced a No Disqualification United States Championship match for tonight’s episode of Raw.
On last night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, Damian Priest retained the United States Championship by defeating both Sheamus and Jeff Hardy in a Triple Threat match.
WWE has since confirmed that Priest will defend the title against Sheamus in a No Disqualification match on tonight’s show.
So for those keeping score, the title match at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view did not have an “extreme” stipulation, but the one 24 hours after the show does.
This is the third championship match set for the show, which will open with Big E vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship, and also feature Charlotte Flair issuing a Raw Women’s Championship Open Challenge.
