Confirmation of a change to the upcoming WWE taping schedule as talent and staff prepare to head into the Christmas holiday.
According to a report from Fightful Select, there has been an update on the upcoming taping schedule for WWE.
The report notes that the upcoming December 15 edition of SmackDown will be a double taping which would account for the following week’s December 22 episode of SmackDown.
Yet to be confirmed however is if the December 18 taping of WWE Raw in Des Moines, Iowa may also be a double taping.
The logistics challenges of taping a three-hour WWE Raw in advance may prove challenging however, there have been ways to make a holiday week off happen in the past for talent.
Most recently, WWE made adjustments to its schedule due to the Christmas and New Years holidays with the December 23, 2022 episode of SmackDown taped the previous week.
WWE last previously held a Raw live taping on Christmas Day in 2017.
