There is now more news regarding precautions AEW is taking for tonight’s Dynamite following the announcements of two big names being pulled from the show.
Both Jon Moxley and QT Marshall have been pulled. Moxley had been in contact with someone who had been in contact with someone who had tested positive, whereas Marshall had been in contact with someone who tested positive after their contact.
F4WOnline is now reporting that none of Marshall’s wrestling students will be present tonight either. A number of them have been in the crowd and even wrestled in recent weeks.
The list of names being kept away from the site tonight also includes AEW contracted talent such as Anna Jay, Lee Johnson, and Alan Angels.
As of yet, no AEW talent itself has tested positive, and testing is being done at every taping and has done so for a number of weeks.
The news that New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are all placing travel restrictions on people flying in from states with high COVID-19 cases could also affect AEW, as it tapes in Florida which falls into that category. Anyone who does so would have to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival. The report adds that sources suggest the promotion will try to get around that because they will have been tested at every trip.
