As most will be aware by now, Sasha Banks was not at last night’s SummerSlam show in Las Vegas to compete against Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Some fans were wondering if Banks’ absence was due to a storyline, but those rumours have been put to bed.
Fightful Select has had an update, noting that Sasha was not cleared to compete at the event, and that the company are hopeful she will be back soon.
Becky Lynch returned to WWE programming for the first time since WrestleMania 36, when she defeated Bianca Belair to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship, as Sasha Banks’ replacement.
