There has been a new update on Drew McIntyre potentially leaving WWE at the end of his current contract in 2024.
The long-term future of the two-time WWE Champion has been widely questioned, with his current deal reportedly set to expire around April 2024.
With McIntyre now featuring prominently in Raw’s top storyline many have expected new terms to be agreed soon between he and WWE, but as of yet there has been no indication that has happened.
However, while that may be the case, perhaps we may have an indication as to what the Scottish Warrior’s future looks like based on advertisements for a major upcoming WWE event.
In new promotional material on WWE.com for WWE’s first German Premium Live Event, Bash in Berlin on August 31, 2024, McIntyre is prominently featured on the event’s poster.
The Scotsman sits alongside other top stars such Cody Rhodes, GUNTHER, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Seth Rollins on the poster, perhaps suggesting that he may be set to stay in WWE past April.
Despite WWE seemingly indicating that McIntyre will be present for the show in August, it’s worth stressing that this is by no means confirmation as such, with listings for events always subject to change.
Regardless, it is at least curious, so make sure to stay tuned to WrestleTalk for any further updates on Drew McIntyre’s contract situation.
