Night One of the 2023 WWE Draft is officially in the books, and several NXT stars are set to make their way up to the main roster.
NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were drafted on SmackDown itself, with their reactions being caught on camera from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
Four more NXT stars were called up in the supplemental draft on the SmackDown LowDown earlier today, those names being Von Wagner, JD McDonagh, Apollo Crews and Zoey Stark.
WWE has now uploaded footage from the NXT Watch Party, showing the reactions from the locker room to the news of Apollo, JD and Zoey’s inclusion in the Draft.
Even more NXT stars may be set to be called up as yet, as the second night of the Draft is set to take place on next week’s episode of Raw.
JD McDonagh is set for his final match as part of the NXT brand on next week’s show, with his opponent yet to be revealed.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn will also take part in their final match on next week’s show, when they defend the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.
