Here’s what happened with The Rock & The Bloodline following Rock’s heel promo on last night’s SmackDown show.
The Rock officially turned heel at last week’s WrestleMania press event, where he seemingly aligned with Roman Reigns after slapping Cody Rhodes.
Rock’s status in the Bloodline was confirmed on last night’s SmackDown, where he came out dressed like his old Corporate Rock character and cut a heel promo on the fans.
Rock’s promo ended with him saying ‘if you smell, what the Bloodline is cooking’, and ended up throwing up the ‘Ones’ with Roman and the rest of the Bloodline.
Following the show, new footage after the show via Reddit user u/theuniquemusic, has emerged online, which saw Rock embrace with all the members of the Bloodline in the ring, including Paul Heyman.
It was reportedly a pitch from The Rock himself to turn heel and change the WrestleMania 40 match to Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes following the fan outrage from Rock’s return.
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are set to appear on the Grayson Waller Effect at WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth next weekend.
