‘Who’s Your Daddy’ Match Set For NJPW Declaration of Power

A ‘Who’s Your Daddy’ match has been announced for NJPW Declaration Of Power.

On October 10, Shingo Takagi will defend his Provisional King of Pro Wrestling (KOPW) 2022 Trophy against El Phantasmo. Per the stipulation, The loser must take the microphone after the bout to tell the winner ‘you are my daddy’.

Several big matches have been announced for the event, with Jay White set to defend his IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Tama Tonga on the show.

G1 Climax winner Kazuchika Okada will also be in action, against JONAH. KUSHIDA will return to the ring to face Taiji Ishimori in non- title action. If KUSHIDA can defeat the junior heavyweight, he will earn a rematch against Ishimori for the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship.

The former NXT star was recently pulled from NJPW shows following a diagnosis of hand, foot and mouth disease.

Ren Narita will also wrestle his ‘homecoming’ match at the event.

• Kazuchika Okada vs. JONAH
• Shingo Takagi (c) vs. El Phantasmo – KOPW 2022 Trophy ‘Who’s Your Daddy’ Match
• KUSHIDA vs. Taiji Ishimori
• Ren Narita’s homecoming match
