Will Ospreay will challenge Jay Lethal for the ROH World Championship at Death Before Dishonor on September 28 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During last night’s television tapings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the New Japan Pro Wrestling and WOS Wrestling star appeared on the screen, issuing a challenge to Lethal. Following the conclusion of the tape, the reigning ROH World Champion accepted the contest.
A potential main stage World Championship victory would be the next logical step for the Brit, who has reigned as Progress Champion and PWA Heavyweight Champion. The highest accolade he’s achieved in ROH is the company’s World Television Championship.
WrestleTalk would like to hear your views on Ospreay’s opportunity, if you think he’ll snag the big prize, and whether or not you’ll be ordering the event in the hopes of seeing history made. You can get in touch on Twitter and Discord today.
