A popular wrestling convention coming to Detroit for WWE SummerSlam weekend.
On Saturday, August 5, WWE will present SummerSlam 2023 from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
Last year’s SummerSlam event saw the popular Starrcast convention come to Nashville during the weekend. Now, this year will see another famous convention in the home city for the show.
On April 20, WrestleCon announced that they will be bringing their popular convention to Detroit for SummerSlam weekend on August 4 and 5.
The convention is usually associated with WrestleMania weekend every year, but this will mark the first time it will take place during a different event’s weekend.
The weekend-long convention usually features current non-WWE stars from around the wrestling world and legends for autograph signings, live stage shows and even in-ring wrestling events.
This year’s convention during Mania 39 weekend featured events from NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling, TJPW and a live stage show with FTR plus more.
