5. John Cena
John Cena is never ever in doubt to receive that first ballot Hall of Fame spot once he finally hangs up his sneakers and jhorts for good.
But why should it wait until he officially retires, when it can be used to motivate one final run and perhaps one final world title reign?
Following his last match at Crown Jewel 2023, WWE and Cena played up that his over 20-year WWE run could be done and dusted. Obviously none of us were buying that, but there is a way to pull the wool over our eyes: induct him in the Hall of Fame.
This could lean into the idea that Cena’s done for good, only for the 16-time champion to triumphantly return for the last time. Admittedly this doesn’t seem all that likely for this year’s class, but it does feel like it’s coming real soon.
