A new report has revealed that a WWE star is pushing to main event WWE Backlash.
This Saturday, May 6 will mark WWE’s latest premium live event, Backlash, from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
On the April 24 edition of WWE Raw, Bad Bunny made his return and confronted Damian Priest by attacking his former friend with a kendo stick after being driven through the commentary table on the post-WrestleMania 39 edition of Raw.
Bunny would then go on to challenge Priest to a San Juan Street Fight at WWE Backlash.
Per WKRD Wrestling, Damian Priest is set to continue to heat up his feud with Bad Bunny on tonight’s May 1 episode of Raw. The report also notes that Priest and Bunny are pushing to headline WWE Backlash this Saturday.
With both stars being Puerto Rican and Bunny’s high profile status as a Grammy Award winner, this will be the match that will have the strongest investment from the San Juan crowd.
As previously reported, several spoilers on the plans for tonight’s WWE Draft edition of Monday Night Raw have been revealed.
