Injured Top WWE Star Teases Big Raw Return

Injured Top WWE Star Teases Big Raw Return WWE

Ahead of a new WWE Women’s World Champion being crowned on tonight’s Raw, injured top WWE star Charlotte Flair has teased a big return.

On the April 15 edition of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley announced that she had suffered an injured shoulder and was forced to vacate the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Later in the show, it was announced that a new champion would be crowned on the April 22 episode. It was later revealed that the champ would be crowned in a battle royal.

Ahead of tonight’s broadcast, former 14-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair took to social media to tease her return on Monday Night Raw.

Flair seemingly wrote “#WWERaw” with a photo of the WWE Women’s World Championship, a title she has never held in her career so far since it was changed from the SmackDown Women’s Title.

Ripley relinquished the title after being the inaugural champion of the rechristened title that was introduced in 2023. Rhea held the title for 380 days.

Liv Morgan and Nia Jax both teased their inclusion in the special battle royal, but WWE hasn’t confirmed the participants at the time of this writing.

UPDATE: After her original post, Flair quote tweeted and wrote: “Time to see who’s gonna pick up where Mami left off— Good luck ladies, I’m rooting for all of you … can’t wait to watch 🍿”, so it does not appear she’s returning tonight after all.
