WWE Release Becky Lynch & Rhea Ripley Road To WrestleMania 40 Playlist

WWE have raided their archives to release the Road to WrestleMania 40 Playlist for Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley.

The pair will cross paths at WrestleMania 40 on April 6 & 7 with Ripley’s WWE Women’s World Championship on the line.

The 41-minute video can be seen below this news story and starts with Lynch and Ripley crossing paths on the December 5 2022 episode of WWE Raw after The Man had harsh words for Bayley.

From their staredown, we then fast forward to June 26, 2023 where Lynch disses Ripley over being a “main event sidepiece”.

January 15 2024 sees the pair circle each other on WWE Raw, with Lynch comparing their journeys before revealing that the voice in her head tells her that Ripley may be better than her.

It was this moment that would see Lynch declare that she wanted to face Ripley at WrestleMania and need to win at Royal Rumble to do that.

Lynch wouldn’t win the women’s Royal Rumble match, with Bayley going on to be victorious and later declaring she would face Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Next up in the playlist is the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match from February 5, 2024, with Lynch defeating Shayna Baszler.

We also get to see post-match comments from Becky Lynch talking about her dreams.

The WrestleMania 40 Kick Off Event from February 8 would see Lynch and Ripley exchange words.

And, that takes us the February 12 episode of WWE Raw where Lynch and Ripley brawl with Nia Jax.

With WWE Elimination Chamber having taken place on February 24, we see Ripley retain against Nia Jax.

With Lynch victorious in the women’s Elimination Chamber match, February 26 gave us the WWE Raw where Becky Lynch challenged Ripley for the title.

With Ripley (and Dominik Mysterio) walking away, we’d also see Nia Jax take out her frustration on Lynch in the WWE Raw ring.

March 4 on WWE Raw saw Lynch take on Nia Jax with Liv Morgan getting involved leading to a DQ finish and the pair sharing words afterwards.

Morgan and Lynch would face off against each other on the March 11 episode of WWE Raw with Ripley turning up to have words with her future opponent.

Jax wouldn’t be out of the picture, though attacking Morgan and Lynch backstage later on in the show.

As the video comes to a close, we are taking to March 18 and the Last Woman Standing match between Jax and Lynch before Ripley would once again turn up to have words with a victorious Lynch.

It was this moment that saw Lynch lamp Dominik Mysterio, brawling with Ripley afterwards.

And, that’s where the video ends, with one more episode of WWE Raw to go before WrestleMania 40.
