WWE Star Says He’d Rather Win New World Title Than Beat Roman Reigns WWE

A popular WWE star has revealed that he would rather win the new World Heavyweight Championship than beat Roman Reigns.

Bronson Reed explained how he wants to make history in WWE and envisions his way to achieve that goal without the need to beat the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Reed explained:

“I would say be the first just because, once you’ve done that, there’s no one else that can ever say they could do that.

“Obviously, once Roman Reigns is dethroned, if he’s ever dethroned, you’re gonna be the one and only to do that as well.

“But with this new championship, you can build a whole new legacy and etch out how you see a champion being fit and how they should be a world champion.”

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship was revealed on the April 24 2023 episode of WWE Raw, with Triple H announcing the inaugural champion would be crowned at WWE Night of Champions on May 27 in Saudi Arabia.

Following a tournament that saw wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown compete to reach the finals, on May 27, in Jeddah, fans will see AJ Styles face Seth Rollins in the finals of the tournament.

On WWE’s The Bump, we got a closer look at the new championship that “honors the superstars and titles of the past” in footage that can be seen below this news story.
