WWE has now cancelled its fourth SmackDown house show in six weeks to allow stars to appear on episodes of Raw.
Next Monday’s Smackdown house show in Corpus Christi, Texas at the American Bank Center has been cancelled due to a “scheduling conflict”.
The American Bank Center issued the following to ticketholders:
The WWE: SmackDown live event scheduled for Monday June 3rd at American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, TX has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. All fans who purchased tickets for the Corpus Christi, TX live event should go to their point of purchase for refunds.
The wildcard rule was introduced several weeks ago in an attempt to increase TV ratings, something it has slowly done, but upsetting fans who have already bought tickets seems like a bit of a price to pay to have Shane McMahon on every show ever.
Hopefully Shane turns up at NXT TakeOver: XXV and cuts an hour long promo.
