We are now officially only 5 days away from SummerSlam, and one of the biggest dominoes yet to fall into place on the card is that of WWE Hall of Famer Edge.
Edge hasn’t been seen on WWE Raw since the night after Hell In A Cell, when Finn Balor joined and ultimately usurped him in the Judgment Day faction.
The mysterious vignettes that have been airing on Raw since Money In The Bank are believed to be hyping up the return of the Rated R Superstar, with many expecting him to return tonight to set up a match with Balor for SummerSlam.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on Edge’s status for the show. Fightful notes that WWE had set travel for Edge to MSG, but were told that some of the elements of the travel were cancelled today.
It is not known how this will effect his status for tonight’s show.
