WWE Women’s Star Teases Match Against Dominik Mysterio

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has shared praise for Dominik Mysterio, teasing a match against the rising star.

Flair and Dominik recently met face-to-face on the February 24 edition of SmackDown, when Dominik pointed out the similarities between himself and the top star.

After Dominik noted that they are both children of wrestling veterans, Flair dismissed him, noting that she has a man at home who calls her mami, a reference to her real-life husband Andrade El Idolo.

Speaking with The Athletic, Flair noted that she has a lot of respect for Dominik, being a second-generation wrestler.

Teasing an intergender bout, Flair said:

“Well, I have a real Papi at home (laughs). I think it’s great. I’m a huge fan of Dom.

“I respect his father (Rey Mysterio) so much. I know the pressure of being a second-generation talent; I know how hard that is.

“So, I have so much respect for him, and I love what he and Rhea are doing. And, who knows … maybe I’ll face Dom.”

Flair will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39.
