WWE Confirms Changes To Women’s Raw Survivor Series Team

Tonight on WWE Raw, a 6-woman tag team match featuring Asuka, Dana Brooke, and Mandy Rose versus Lana, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax took place during hour one of Raw. The match was the brainchild of Lana who hoped to prove she belonged on Team Raw.

However, it wasn’t Lana who would wind up getting removed from the team. During the match, Shayna and Nia did a double team move where they stomped Mandy Rose’s arm on the steel steps. Mandy was removed from the match due to injury.

While providing an update on her status later on in the show, Dana Brooke was attacked by Reckoning of RETRIBUTION. Reckoning kicked Brooke’s head against an equipment box.

WWE would announce later in the show both would be unable to compete at Survivor Series. As of the writing of this article, their replacements had not been announced. It did appear both injuries are storyline and are not expected to be legitimate.

Based on options available, it would seem we could see Lacey Evans, Reckoning, or Peyton Royce. Other options could be a returning Naomi or a debuting Santana Garrett. Of course, this could be a huge surprise move and maybe we could see the return of Charlotte Flair. That would certainly be newsworthy and rumors had her back for Survivor Series.

UPDATE: It will be Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans as their replacements.
