Former WWE Star Would’ve Considered Royal Rumble Return If Offered WWE

Former WWE star Ken Anderson (Mr Kennedy) has commented on the possibility of him returning to the company for a Royal Rumble match.

The Royal Rumble is usually touted as one of the most unpredictable nights on the WWE calendar, with several shocks and surprises revealed each year.

Ahead of the 2024 Royal Rumble, Ken Anderson stated that he’d have definitely considered a Rumble appearance if offered the opportunity.

Speaking with Cheap Heat Productions, Anderson said:

“Yeah, definitely. I would consider it. We’ll just leave it at that.

“With that being said, I am really excited to see the Rumble. It’s my favorite match of the year. It always has been.”

While Anderson ultimately didn’t compete at Royal Rumble 2024, he has had an influence on one current WWE star in particular, with Anderson previously training Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson in pro-wrestling.

Steveson is currently on the road with WWE, and has competed in dark matches at every SmackDown taping of 2024 so far.

The 2024 Royal Rumble matches were won by Bayley and Cody Rhodes respectively, with both stars earning title shots for WrestleMania 40.

An interesting stipulation has been teased for Bayley’s WrestleMania 40 match, which you can read more about right here.
