WWE Star Reacts To Eddie Kingston Title Win

WWE SmackDown star Santos Escobar has now given a shoutout to AEW’s Eddie Kingston following his huge title win.

Kingston is now the NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion, defeating KENTA for the gold at the July 5 NJPW STRONG Independence Day night two event.

The popular AEW name got emotional following his first NJPW title win, you can watch a clip of Kingston following his victory right here.

Santos Escobar has now reacted to Kingston’s win, taking to Twitter to write:

Kingston is set to have a big summer, with the AEW star set to compete in the NJPW G1 Climax tournament.

Announced for Block C, Kingston is slated to face off against the likes of Tomohiro Ishii and Shingo Takagi in block action of the round robin tournament.

Escobar notably competed in the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match at the July 1 premium live event.

He ultimately came up short, with Damian Priest ultimately claiming the briefcase.
