WWE Provides Eva Marie Injury Update Following Raw

WWE has provided an update on Eva Marie’s injury status following a brutal beatdown at the hands of Shayna Baszler on Raw.

During the September 27 show, Baszler confronted Marie in the ring, before pulling her into a Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler then proceeded to kick Marie’s arm across the ring apron, before stomping her elbow into the ring steps.

WWE took to social media and the official website to note that Marie has been treated for a possible elbow dislocation, writing:

“Eva Marie was evaluated after Raw and is being treated for a possible dislocation of her elbow following another brutal attack by Shayna Baszler.”

While this seems to be part of an ongoing storyline, there has been no word as to whether the angle was intended to write Marie off of WWE TV for a while.

Following a similar attack to Nia Jax after their match on last week’s episode of Raw, it was revealed that Jax will be out of action for an ‘undisclosed amount of time‘. It was later reported that Jax had just been written off TV, and wasn’t actually injured.

If the injury is genuine, or if Marie was written off TV to help her deal with another injury, we wish her a safe recovery.
