A new match has now been officially added to the card for an anticipated upcoming WWE event on January 2, 2024.
This week’s episode of NXT (December 26) saw the card for New Year’s Evil take further shape, with a brand new match being added to the card.
It was announced that recent rivals on NXT TV, Roxanne Perez and Arianna Grace will clash at the event in singles competition, joining what is looking to be a packed card.
Also announced for New Year’s Evil was another match in the women’s division as former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton looks to settle her own score with Fallon Henley in a Ranch Hand of Servant match.
A backstage interview with Ridge Holland has also been confirmed to air at New Year’s Evil following the controversial neck injury angle involving Ilja Dragunov that ran on the December 19 edition of NXT
Following the angle, it was questioned whether Dragunov would still be competing at New Year’s Evil, where he is set to defend his NXT Championship against Trick Williams.
Despite Trick questioning whether the match should go ahead Dragunov would in fact sign the contract on NXT, despite sporting a neck brace.
