Bobby Lashley pinned Roman Reigns in a solid match with a spear. Some fans tried to ruin the bout with “RUSEV DAY!” chants at first but reacted positively to Lashley’s win.
Next was Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules match. Natalya was in Nia Jax’s corner, Mickie James was with Alexa. Rubbish bins and steel chairs aplenty here. Natalya and Mickie ended up fighting outside the ring. As Bliss and James double-teamed Natalya, Ronda Rousey vaulted the barricade and came to her aid. Rousey got into the ring and dropped Mickie with a spinning Samoan Drop before chucking her into the German announcers’ table. Alexa tried to flee, Ronda grabbed her but James nailed Rousey with a kendo stick. Then as Jax tried to Samoan Drop the champ, James saved her with a chair shot. Bliss then DDTd Nia on a chair and retained the title.
