WWE Extreme Rules Results and Report

Kevin Owens beat Braun Strowman in a cage match. Strowman mullered Owens for several minutes until KO handcuffed Braun to the ropes. Kev tried to escape but cockily took forever, even blowing a kiss to Mr Monster in the Bank. So Strowman angrily ripped himself free, then climbed the cage after Owens. They both ended up perched on top, where Strowman shoved KO off the top with one hand and Owens fell right through the commentary table! The fans went ape for this hugely dangerous stunt. So Owens won. But the fans were going crazy for Strowman with “GET THESE HANDS!” chants. As EMTs attended to a stricken Owens, Braun yelled “YOUR WINNER, KEVIN OWENS!” and then walked off laughing. So basically Braun would rather cripple a man than win. Fair enough. I’m not going to argue with him.

Daniel Bryan then came out for the SmackDown Tag Title match.  No sign of the injured Kane.  The Bludgeon Brothers retained by pinfall. Bryan fought valiantly for several minutes alone against Harper and Rowan until The Big Red Machine came limping out, his leg in a cast. Kane tagged in and dominated until the champs targeted his knee. Rowan then sent Bryan into Kane and the Bludgeons polished DB off with a modified Doomsday Device.

Roman Reigns was shown walking purposefully backstage. He got his usual reaction. The celebrating B Team gave him a pep talk. The Big Dog was unimpressed.
