WWE fans continue to make their big feelings known as when a graphic was shown on screen featuring The Rock, they booed.
At tonight’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day premium live event, there was a spot where commentary was reading off details of upcoming events, including a big one for Thursday.
This coming Thursday (February 8), WWE has announced a WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event in Las Vegas.
The media event was announced after the stare-off between The Rock and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on Friday’s SmackDown.
Through the weekend fan fury continued with #WeWantCody continuing to trend on social media after it seemed like The Rock had come in and replaced Cody Rhodes in main eventing Mania against Reigns.
When the reminder about the event was shown on screen at tonight’s NXT Vengeance Day, the crowd made sure to make their feelings known.
They booed as the graphic featuring The Rock, Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Triple H and more was shown on-screen, showing this isn’t simply a movement that exists only online.
