WWE star Giovanni Vinci of Imperium is out for ‘a number of weeks’ following a recent match and the injury has now been confirmed.
At WWE Raw Day 1 on January 1, Vinci teamed with Ludwig Kaiser to take on Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston.
The match would see a legitimate ref stoppage following a dropkick from Kingston on Vinci with Uso and Kingston being awarded the win.
On January 9, Michael Cole would reveal that Vinci would be out of action for ‘a number of weeks‘.
Dave Meltzer has now addressed Vinci’s situation in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, writing:
“Vinci is out due to a concussion from the kick by Kingston to the jaw last week.”
As previously reported, following the match, Vinci would state that he was “fine” on social media and thanked his fans for their support.
