NXT Great American Bash Championship Submission Match Confirmed

NXT Great American Bash Championship Submission Match Confirmed WWE

A championship match for the upcoming WWE premium live event, NXT Great American Bash was confirmed tonight (July 18).

Find out what WWE title match is not only headed for NXT’s Great American Bash, but it will also have a special stipulation.

After Thea Hail took on Elektra Lopez (with Lola Vice at ringside) and won the match via submission, she had the confidence to get on the mic.

With she and Duke Hudson speaking directly to NXT fans, Thea Hail was grateful for the support but still had her eyes on a bigger prize.

Thea called out Tiffany Stratton, saying that she wanted a rematch for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship.

In their first match a couple of weeks ago, Hail had actually tapped Stratton out but the referee didn’t see it, and Stratton ended up winning and retaining the title.

When Stratton appeared and accepted the challenge, then Hail upped the ante, demanding that the match be a submission match.

At first the champ declined the proposition, but that was only until Thea Hail pounced and pulled Stratton into a Kimura Lock.

Stratton tapped out to the hold once again, and while begging for Hail to let go, ended up accepting the match and the submission stipulation.

Move over Brock Lesnar, Thea Hail is coming!

Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, a pair of WWE tag teams seem to have disbanded.
