Mick Foley Comments On Roman Reigns 2-Year Universal Title Reign WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has commented on Roman Reigns and his two-year Universal Championship reign.

On August 30, 2020, Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt in a triple threat match to win the WWE Universal Championship.

For the past 737+ days, Reigns has crafted a remarkable run that has impressed even WWE Hall of Famers.

On the latest edition of “Foley Is Pod”, Mick Foley discussed Roman’s historic reign and the possible WrestleMania showdown with The Rock.

He said:

“I like the run, just personally, if there’s a chance we see Rock and Roman at WrestleMania for the title, the title’s gotta stay in The Bloodline. And now that we have Sami Zayn, oh man, this guy is the gift that just keeps on giving, right?”

Of course, Mick Foley was part of a legendary tag team with The Rock in the Rock N Sock Connection during the Attitude Era.

It has been speculation for the better part of two years that Roman Reigns was set to face The Rock at WrestleMania, but it remains to be seen if this plan comes to fruition.
