John Cena has become regarded as one of the greatest WWE stars of all time over his 20 year career.
Cena has won 16 world championships during his career, tied with Ric Flair for the most amount recognised by WWE in history.
Cena found his first success as a part of the SmackDown, with WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long serving as the general manager of the show.
Speaking on the Road Trip After Hours podcast, Long was asked about a potential match between Cena and LA Knight after Cena shared a photo of the WWE star on his Instagram account.
Long put over Knight, saying he was a fan of him, but the same could not be said for Cena.
He said:
“Well, I don’t know, man. You know what I mean? I’ll just be straight up with you. I’m not a John Cena fan, okay, so I don’t really know. LA Knight, I like this kid, man, and I think it’s a great opportunity for him to work with someone like John Cena. But I mean, you know, I don’t know if Cena is serious about coming back to wrestling. I just don’t get none of it and I guess it’s really not my business anyway, so whatever happens, you know, it shouldn’t concern me anyway, but if that’s what happens, you know, we’ll just wait and see.”
