WWE Hall of Famer and “Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley has discussed the possibility of one final match following Sting’s Last Match.
At AEW Revolution, Sting had the final match of his near-40 year career when he teamed with Darby Allin to defeat The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships at the age of 65.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently mentioned the possibility of having one final death match for his 60th birthday and using it as motivation to help drop 100 lbs before the milestone.
During a live autograph signing for Highspots, Foley gave an update on his potential return to the ring. On planning to make his decision by the start of 2025, he said:
“Yeah, but I’d have to lose an extraordinary amount of weight – and it’s not falling off like I hoped it would.”
“So I’m going to have to reexamine where I am at a certain point. It’s not about the money. I want to have a fun match, but I am having trouble.”
“I’ve been working out, I feel better, moving better, but it’s not showing up as of yet on the scale.”
“So I’m not sure. I’ll have an answer by the beginning of the year.”
Mick Foley also mentioned Jon Moxley or Matt Cardona as potential opponents for the death match, but he also said that there is a lot of different options.
Foley last wrestled more than a decade ago when he was an entrant in the 2012 WWE Royal Rumble.
