Former WWE Star Comments On Rumored Jake Paul Fight WWE

Former WWE star Matt Riddle has commented on potentially fighting Jake Paul, following previous reports about this possible bout.

Following Riddle’s WWE release in September, reports indicated that several combat sports promotions were interested in working with the ex-UFC star.

It was also reported that there had been ‘preliminary’ talk about a possible Riddle vs Jake Paul fight.

Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Matt Riddle indicated that he’d be interested in this bout if the price was right.

Riddle said:

“I mean yeah, I’ll do anything for some money.

“I prefer doing Mixed Martial Arts. Yeah, boxing whatever, kickboxing, whatever. I’ll fight anybody anytime.”

Riddle notably competed on the seventh season of UFC The Ultimate Fighter in 2008, before going on a brief UFC winning streak.

He also competed in MMA promotions Bellator and Titan FC before making the transition to pro-wrestling in 2015.

Jake Paul is currently honing his craft as a boxer, with the influencer previously revealing his intention to become a world champion in boxing.

Paul has scored professional boxing victories over a number of professional fighters, including former UFC stars Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.

His most recent fight saw him defeat pro-boxer Andre August on December 15 with a first round KO.

Jake Paul has now commented on the possibility of him joining his brother Logan Paul in WWE, which you can read more about right here.
