WWE star Karrion Kross has achieved the status of brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has thanked Matt Riddle for teaching him.

Kross shared two photos on Twitter which can be seen below, along with confirmation of his new level in the martial art, tweeting:

“The Jiu Jitsu Gods we’re smiling on me today, crazy.

“Promoted from 3rd degree purple to brown on Renzo Gracie’s birthday tonight.

“Thank you sincerely to the team and all the Professors@rudos_bjj/@SuperKingofBros

“Bit of a loss for words, just very happy today.”

Kross is currently part of The Final Testament faction in WWE alongside Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar), Scarlett and Paul Ellering.

He has recently teased a singles feud with Bobby Lashley ahead of WrestleMania 40.

Matt Riddle was released by WWE in September 2022 and has gone on to appear in MLW and NJPW.

At NJPW The New Beginning in Sapporo on February 23, 2024, he defeated Tanahashi to become NJPW World Television Champion.
