WWE’s LA Knight & Grayson Waller React After Heated Talk Show Incident Sunrise

WWE SmackDown stars LA Knight and Grayson Waller have reacted to a heated incident on an Australian talk show.

Doing the media rounds for WWE’s upcoming Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on February 24, former rivals Knight and Waller squashed their differences and remained civil with one another during the appearance.

However, the same cannot be said for Waller and a particular camera man working on the Sunrise talk show, with a heated confrontation taking place on camera.

When Waller and Knight were tasked with showing off their finishing moves live on the air, a camera man stepped up and goaded Waller to lay his finisher on him; a move that the Aussie Icon saw as “disrespect”.

While things did not escalate too far between Waller and the talk show employee, it was almost reminiscent of a few infamous examples of wrestlers getting physical with talk show hosts who perceive what they do as ‘fake’.

Seeing the funny side of the situation both Knight and Waller would post callbacks to perhaps the two most infamous examples of such a thing happening in the past.

On Twitter, Knight posted a still image of a 1997 interview on Kuwait TV featuring WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and Vader; in which the latter infamously reacted to what he felt was an insulting comment by grabbing the talk show interviewer by the necktie and asked him if that “f**king felt fake”.

Not to miss out on the chance to poke fun at the situation, Waller also posted his own callback; this time to former WWE star David Schultz, who slapped ABC’s John Stossel during an interview in 1984, an incident which led to his dismissal from the company.

You can see both Waller and Knight’s tweets down below.
